Heckler & Koch
The name Heckler & Koch is a regular icon in small arms. Located in Oberndorf am Neckar, Germany, it was founded in 1949 by three key personnel from the former Mauser company, Edmund Heckler, Theodor Koch, & Alex Seidel. Heckler & Koch is dedicated to the U.S. civilian and U.S. state and local law enforcement officers. The HK USP, or Universal Self-Loading Pistol, has become the classic competition pistol, due to the reliable design and recoil absorbing features.
Heckler & Koch handguns cover all the main areas, with the 9mm, 357Sig, 40 Smith & Wesson, and the 45ACP, there is sure to be a Heckler & Koch firearm for all types of shooters, no matter your caliber preference.
The small arms product line is extremely diverse which has allowed H&K to turn out pistols to grenades and machine guns, for both the military and civilian markets, that have consistently impacted the gun market in the best possible manner. H&K products are among the standard issue inventories of the world’s most elite and highly trained specialist forces. In the United States alone, these include the US Navy Seals, the FBI and the Special Air Services.
Heckler Koch weapons are famous for their precision engineering, high rate of accuracy and extreme durability. The fact that its products also feature extremely user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing ergonomic designs has only added to their popularity.
Heckler & Koch is most known for their polymer, based small arms and innovative product features such as polygonal barrel rifling. The polymer frame of the USP was designed using technical experience gained by HK engineers in the development of the world's first composite material pistols.
