JLD Enterprises was founded in 1997 by Jose Luis Diaz. In 2006 Jose Luis Diaz joined forces with a medical devices and components manufacturer, who had 50 years experience manufacturing medical and aircraft components, named P Everett Weed. Together they became PTR 91.
Located in Farmington Connecticut, PTR 91 has expanded its production capability of the PTR 91 line of rifles. Combined with the tooling from the H&K licensed G3 arms plant in Portugal, PTR 91 retains the major design features of the popular rifle. The US manufactured PTR91 features a retarded blow back system, .75 Inch diameter, match grade, 4 groove barrel with 1:12 Inch right twist, black furniture and powder coated barrel. Available in 16 or 18 inch barrels the PTR 91 offers several stock types to customize your rifle. JLD has gone to great lengths to produce a quality up to date rifle that complies with all 922 US regulations.
