Kel-Tec Sub-2000

Kel-Tec is proud to introduce the Sub-2000, a self-loading carbine for pistol cartridges. Most of today's modern handgun magazines are accepted in one version or another of the sub-2000. Developed from the highly successful Sub 9, Kel-Tec's Sub Rifle-2000, has greatly extended range compared to a handgun. Very useful against small or partially covered targets at shorter range, the superior precision of the Sub-2000, requires only a fraction of the training to master. Although retaining some features of the old rifle, the SUB-2000 put emphasis on consumer safety, without impeding the performance.

With safety in mind the Sub-2000's bolt can be locked in the rear position by the operating handle. The main safety disconnects the trigger bar and interlocking the hammer and sear. The Sub 2000 can be reduced to a size of 16" x 7" by simply rotating the barrel upwards and back, to facilitate secure storage and utilize the internal deployment lock which is operated by a proprietary key.

The SUB-2000 has the ability to take a wide range of pistol magazines, which is a key point for most firearms enthusiast.
