Auto-Ordnance Tommy Guns
The Thompson sub machine gun is one of the most recognizable firearms on the planet, with a handful of other slang names for the Thompson SMG. The Thompson is also known as the Tommy Gun, Chopper, Chicago Typewriter, Trench Broom, and Chicago Piano to name a few. Made famous by the outlaws of the 1920s and 1930s, John T. Thompson began production of these remarkable firearms in 1916, and developed them specifically for the military market, which at the time did not see the full potential of a fully automatic firearm. Now the Thompson sub-machine gun is a prized firearms, which has been a must have for almost every historic firearms collector.
