The FN FNP40 Series pistol is double-action/single-action, double action only, or single action only, semi-automatic, polymer-framed pistol manufactured by FNH USA in Columbia, S.C., a division of Fabrique Nationale de Herstal. All variations of the FN FNP include ambidextrous decocking levers and a reversible magazine release, as well as an integrated tactical accessory rail. The FNP also features a polymer framed autoloading pistol on the market with fully replaceable frame rails, allowing the pistol to be rebuilt after extensive firing, thereby extending service life.
