The Glock 32 is a compact pistol designed by Gaston Glock and manufactured by Glock. The Glock 32 is actually a Glock 23 modified to fire the .357 Sig ammunition. It uses a modified slide, frame, .357 Sig barrel and magazine, but is otherwise nearly identical in appearance to the Glock 23. Designed as a compact model, the Glock 32 offers a unique combination of versatility, convincing ballistics, optimum carry comfort and the usual Glock reliability. Especially in rural areas and national parks, many services have already been equipping their officials with this highly modern semi-automatic pistol. The advantages of the Glock 32 become decisive especially out in the open countryside.
The Glock 32 and 23 are identical in barrel length and external dimensiont, but differ slightly in weight. The Glock 32 is about 10 grams heavier than the Glock 23. The Glock 32 also features a 13 round capacity. The main difference between the Glock 32 and the Glock 32C is that the barrel and slide are on the C model to reduce climb while shooting the pistol.
