I purchased a well broken in P11. It had the extremely hard 10 lb trigger, but after a couple hundred rounds I got used to the trigger. Well, after a while, I decided to smooth out the pistol. After I received the 8.5 lb trigger and a steel recoil spring rod, I disassembled the pistol, got out my trusty Dremel and got to polishing. I polished the triger bar and smoothed out the hammer, as well as any rough spots. Since the gun was well broken in and shoots anything I put into it, I left the barrel ramp alone. I installed the new trigger spring but used the paper clip mod to slightly reduce the spring tension ]TecWerks has this on their site[. I put a thin coat of teflon paste on the trigger bar and completed the ammembly. A couple of pulls of the trigger brought a smile to my face. After I completed my task, I immediately went to the range. What a difference. Not only was the trigger much lighter, but the break was so much smoother. The accuracy was increased immensely and has made this pistil so much more enjoyable to shoot. I now find this pistol to be as smooth as any other pistol I have shot and even the long trigger pull is no longer a factor. The mod was easy and actually gave me a better understanding of how this pistol works.

I am a 1911 guy. I own and regularly carry my P-11. I have the 12 rd. Flush Fit magazines for it and it is a Great little gun. Reliable, concealable, not unpleasant to shoot either. I have big hands and the wider grip works for me. Also a piece of non-skid stair tape to the frontstrap and it is controllable in recoil. Will also take +P ammo, though NOT on a steady basis. Lifetime Warranty, uses S&W 59 Series magazines also. A Great Value for a Quality Firearm.
