I like the pistol. The first thing I did was get a new
bottom plate on the mag so I could have a place for my
pinky could hold it also. Even my wife needed the new
bottom plate for her hand also & she wears a small in gloves. There is little difference between this 9 sub
& the 9 compact in kick. easy to get back on target quickly. The pistol was bought for ccw & was for the use in
warmer weather when concealing is more difficult. I''''ve only
shot a couple of clips through the pistol so far. I shoot
about a 3 group at 30'''' with a couple out of the group of
30rds shot. You can''''t go wrong with this pistol, buy it!
I have 3 xd pistols alone. Me & my wife love the xd pistols.

Received the gun last week and put 200 rounds of fmj ammo through it today. Functioned flawlessly and was a real pleasure to shoot. I have wide short fingered hands, and I find the XD9 fits my hand a lot better than my Glock 23. Also, it shoots surprisingly accurate, despite the 3 inch barrel. Only con I found was the small dots used on the sights, hard to see in low light.
Bottom line: I would buy it again and will recommend it to my friends!
