After trying all the 9mm''s out there someone in my club had a sp-01 Phantom. I asked if I could try it. I was shocked it felt like a 1911. It had the beaver tail trigger action and accuracy of a well tuned 1911. The recoil was extremely manageable the fit of the slide to the frame was really tight and it ate anyammo I fed it. I bought myself one. It is one of the best buys I ever have made. The trigger is very predictable in double action. And in single a steady pull made taking shots accurate. I only have 3 complaints: 1- When the rail is racked back and you use a little to much pressure it will make the slide go forward. 2- The magazine should have a more positive Click when inserting into the pistol 3- If you fire anything heavier than a 115 grain bullet it has the bad habit of ejecting it into you face. Now this happens less with a 147 grain bullet but still happens and you end up a day at the range with a lot of black circles on your face. One other BIG negative is finding a holster for this gun. Although many manufactures say that their holster ]composite type[ will fit a CZ 75 p-01, the accessory rail makes it almost impossible to order a holster without trying it first. I finally ended using a SIG holster and a Dremel tool to get one to work. And the mags aren''t cheap but what mags are. And getting the 10th round in the mag is a little difficult. In closing, great gun even with it''s little problems, you cant go wrong buying it and you will enjoy it.
