I've had this gun for almost a year now and overall I am pleased with it. I use it about 50/50 between the 410 shot and 45 Colt. The only negative I would say is that the bead only barrel makes the 45 round a little challenging, I am strongly considering having a gunsmith drill and tap for a red dot or a shotgun type scope. The stock and forend will hold the choke, choke key and about three dozen assorted rounds, nice for both a hang-around and a walk-around gun. Three things worth mentioning are 1) This Rifled 45 cal. Gun is not a 410 slug gun. The Colt 45 round is your slug. 2) Never shoot any shotshell W/O its one and only available choke, it will damage the exposed choke threads. 3) CCI's 45 Colt Shotshell works great in this gun! Because of the choke and the 20 in. barrel it gives the CCI round a more effective short range pattern than with a 45 Colt pistol. The choke is not rated by H&R, but I'd say, give or take a little, it's about an IC.
