Bought this rifle in .243 at Cabelas for $279. Topped it with a Bushell 4x12 42mm scope. After bore sighting and 5 shots at the range to zero it in at 3 high at 100 yards, this thing is dead-nuts-on! In fact it shoots more accurately than my 700BDL in .270 or my 700ADL in 30-06! It has a plain black stock, matte barrel, but its a meat gun and not for a lot of admiring and ooohs and ahhhs. For the average person who wants a gun that shoots where you aim, this is the gun for you. If you want curly walnut stock, high-gloss barrel, etc. than go buy a high end gun that probably won''t be as accurate! Crisp trigger, and smooth action. Yes, this gun is a keeper in my book!
