True shooting pleasure
by: txbullseye
Had this gun for about 3 months and nothing but pure shooting pleasure. Took about 20 shots @ 30 yards to get it zeroed in.
Scope stays true after hundreds of shots. I also own a Beeman
1100 and it has done a fine job. Only complaint about the Gamo is the twang when you fire it. Would have given it 5 stars if it came with a hardwood stock.

Bad A**!

I moved to an area where ground squirrels dig holes all over my property, I bought a pump powerline and it could take out birds but not accurate on the long shots. I bought my first spring action from Wal-mart, a Beeman 1100 series. This gun is a piece of crap, bent barrel, would not shot certain pellets. Made in china, i thought I was buying a true Beeman. So I took it back and got the Big Cat 1200 with a 3-9x40 scope. I liked how light it was compared to the Beeman. I was leery about the plastic stock but I was pleased when I held it and felt the almost tacky feel. It only took a short time to site scope. Power is surprising and joyful. I try not to shoot in my backyard so no neighbors house gets pellets but I know sooner or later I will take someones something out. I live out in the desert so I have some freedom. Today was day two of shooting it and I find that the trigger gives me a moment when all is in line before I pull to take the final shot. With it I am putting shot groups at 17 yards into a 1 incg circle. I put a couple shots into a 47 yard targets bullseye. At 50 yards i a have hitting a spinning 1 inch bird. It is a wonderful gun adn the price was $159.00 at Wal-mart. Today I found a ground squirell and got about 20 feet from it kneeling. Big image was in scope full size, pulled trigger and the first casualty of the war was reported. Later I took kids out and we shot bottles and cans in the cesert from standing, very accurate, very powerful. Buy this gun!!!
